Bodegas Pedro Martínez Alesanco Blanco 2019
Beautiful nose of melon and citrus zest, in the mouth, at first there's an aggressively dry acidic streak but it soon opens up to show delightfully dry and zesty fruit, plenty of complexity and a slight shift back towards the more mineral style of white Rioja which seemed abandoned in the 2018 vintage of this wine. Expect development over coming months to a softer, more rounded feel. Today, this would serve well as an aperitif or would pair beautifully with an assortment of lightly flavoured foods .
